Responsibilities and tasks:
You will be a member of our HSE team with colleagues based in Denmark, the United Kingdom and Benelux. You will be based in Aarhus, and you will report to the Head of HSE. Together with your dedicated colleagues in the team, you will be responsible for maintaining a constant focus on all HSE matters. You will also help us to have an in depth safety culture and to ensure that projects and sites comply with the current conditions, rules and legislation regarding environment and working environment.
You will drive the work instruction approval working closely together with the Head of HSE and the country specific electrical engineers, ensuring a uniform process flow in relations to approved working procedures. Further you will ensure focus on Lock Out Instructions from design, manufacturing, construction and service.
On a more detailed level – you will:
- Be responsible for the overall execution and implementation of the Control of
Hazardous Energy/Electrical Safety program at our sites, and act as a subject
matter expert to the entire value chain.
- Ensure that the Hazardous Energy
Control program and Electrical Safety standards are implemented, enforced and
maintained throughout the Company
- Administer the Electrical Safety Program in
collaboration with the site managers, and coordinate the work of various parties
involved in the program.
- Provide Hazardous Energy Control training to the
employees, either as a Trainer or as a facilitator for the required
- Support the documentation and record keeping for the
- Conduct regular audits, inspections and reviews as required by the
Hazardous Energy Control program
- Participate in subject matter workgroups,
internal and external in the industry, and share/gain knowledge
Preferable you have 5-7 years’ of experience in HSE project management within large-scale construction projects, turnkey projects and/or the marine-, oil- or power industry. You are committed, takes ownership and have a solid knowledge when it comes to HSE. You have experience dealing with people at all levels and you have a solid knowledge within HSE risk management, HSE assurance such as safety audits as well as emergency response. You will be able to conduct training in a classroom or group setting and you understand and respect cultural differences.
In relation to your Electrical skills we hope to see:
- BSc level or more within Low/High Voltage
- Significant knowledge of
EN50110, and relevant national standards for countries with Europe
with electrical safety, electrical schemes, switching ideally a SAP
system of work LOTO/WTSR
- Basic knowledge within ISO 9001, 14001 & OHSAS
