IT Support Assistant

Location: Denmark, Aarhus

You will take part in a very exciting journey and participate in developing the IT Department in a global environment. Our aim is to deliver a new ERP system and a cloud-based infrastructure supplying the users with easy-to-use, flexible, sustainable and secure business solutions. You will become part of a department with a very high team spirit and motivation for delivering excellent IT solutions to the business.

Responsibilities and tasks
Your key stakeholders for collaboration and coordination will be End-users, Vestas IT and other 1st, 2nd and 3rd level support departments.

As an IT Support Assistant you will:

  • Dispatch IT Service tickets
  • Act as the MVOW IT Call
    Center
  • Document tickets from End Users in Service
    Manager
  • Assign and resetting Passwords for End Users
  • Assign
    and controll licenses
  • Purchase IT Equipment
  • Create Purchase
    orders and follow-up on the Purchase orders.
  • Follow-up on End User
    documentation
  • Communicate IT Info to the organization
Professional and personal qualifications
You have solid practical experience with providing IT support in an international organisation.
 
Qualifications:
  • Education: Business Education or similar
  • Service Desk
    Experience (Year/s):  3-5 years
  • ITIL:
    Foundation 
  • MS OS, MS Office Environment
  • Work
    experience: +8 years – within industry and IT

Competencies:

  • Basic IT literacy
  • Service minded
  • Experience in
    supporting large-scale/global sites from a central remote location
  • Fluent in English oral and written
  • Multi cultural
    understanding
  • Reliable and demonstrated customer service and
    user-advocacy skills
  • Strong communication skill and good interpersonal
    skills
  • Analytical, structured and methodological
  • Ability to
    act in a dynamic work environment
