Publishing Engineer, Aarhus

We are looking for a PTC Publishing Engineer to join our highly skilled Documentation team. The department is responsible for providing documentation support and solutions to our technical organisation and have a close interface to our Sales and Operation organisation. The main focus will be to implement a high quality documentation structure for our V164 turbine within a PDMLink based environment – and ensure an easy to use and logical platform for technical documentation for various internal and external users.

Responsibilities and tasks
You will be responsible for ensuring the introduction of the Arbortext environment within the documentation team and be a lead XML developer – creating, controlling and maintaining documentation for all configurations developed. Together with the Documentation team you will be the main driver and responsible for developing the documentation, securing that we will have a well-functioning and well-established approach to technical documentation.

Your main responsibilities will be to:

  • Lead publishing strategy within PTC environment – from PDMlink to
  • Take on the Arbortext advisory role and mentor Arbortext
    business users
  • Participate with management in short and long term planning
    for documentation structure and publishing
  • Be a subject matter expert in
  • Design and maintain stylesheets
  • Configure Publishing
    Engine and Distribution Platform 
  • Work with various stakeholders to
    design and create customizations as needed in Arbortext
  • Understand and
    implement Publishing Rules and configuration

Qualifications and work experience

  • You have experience in developing XML based solutions and managing technical
    documentation. It is important that you have worked in close cooperation with
    technicians and engineers and are able to adapt their input into technical
    documentation reaching the target group (Engineers, Field Techs or
  • You have proven experience in driving the implementation of new
    work procedures and systems based on PTC Windchill, Abortext and InService
  • You have experience with DITA solutions
  • You hold a technical
    communication educational background
  • You understand basic Windchill PDMLink

  • You have excellent communication skills in
